OMPAN Anambra State Chapter Condemns Fuel Price Hike, Calls on President Tinubu to Intervene
We, the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), Anambra State Chapter, strongly condemn the recent hike in fuel pump price. This increase is unacceptable and burdensome to Nigerians.
We urge you, President Bola Tinubu, to take immediate and decisive action to mitigate the effects of this price increase on Nigerians. The fuel price hike will have devastating consequences for Nigerians, including increased cost of living, higher transportation costs, and reduced economic activity.
We call on you to engage with stakeholders and explore alternative solutions to reduce the burden of fuel price on Nigerians. We stress the need for transparency and accountability in the management of the country's resources. Nigerians deserve better.
As online media practitioners, we pledge to continue holding those in power accountable and advocating for the welfare of Nigerians. We will not relent in our efforts to ensure that the voices of Nigerians are heard and their interests protected.
