I have maintained eloquence in silence for some reasons best known to me. I have also meticulously followed political events especially as it affects our immediate political enclave but I have these recommendations solely for Governor Ikpeazu.
Foisting unpopular candidates on the party faithfuls can only make our party increasingly unpopular as the people are ready to do protest voting in favour of the opposition parties.
The political consciousness of our people are getting so high that we can't swallow every decision by the top party hierarchies hook, line and sinker all in the name of LOYALTY.
Going by the performance index rating, our elected officials has performed really below average and their penchant for opulence coupled with their avaricious inclinations has left our people to suffer in abject poverty and classless penury. Nobody is asking the government to share money to the citizens but, creating enabling environment for businesses to thrive can assuage their feelings about the government.
For instance, the umuikea-omoba road should have been greeted with a special intervention by the No 3 citizen of the state who also hails from our LGA.
The brazen display of ineptitude by the government as exemplified by the outright negligence of our rural roads in deplorable conditions is another source of worry. I make bold to ask the benefits of the Ngwa populace in the current Ikpeazu-led administration. There has been promises of reconstruction of obikabia road that cuts across the 3 LGAs of Ngwa land. A road that is very strategic in easing the traffic congestions in osisioma, ogbor hill and other routes. The said road contract is standing still at the moment as contractors are already out of the site.
The governor may also be wrong in using such contracts in settling his political friends and cronies as such self-evident jobs are done haphazardly with lots of substandard materials.
I'm an avid supporter of Ikpeazu, I'm also loyal to the party and her principles but we should start telling our Governor the bitter truth. I know this may be misconstrued by minions and such other little minds but I pray God to grant them the wisdom to decipher that which is the truth and nothing but the truth.
